Kaul Oil is a home heating oil and fuel delivery business located in Southeastern Wisconsin. Kaul Mart, a division of Kaul Oil, is a chain of convenience stores located in the Milwaukee area.
PROJECT DETAILS
Kaul Oil needed a web site to communicate their services in a more effective manner than the previous site. Performing well in search engines was a primary goal for this project. Kaul Oil needed a site that would show up high in search engine rankings for keywords related to their services.
Kaul Oil also had other objectives for this web design project. This site needed to provide information about Kaul Mart, a division of Kaul Oil. The careers section of KaulOil.com was also a main focus of this project. This site allows visitors to view open positions at Kaul Oil and Kaul Mart and apply online for each position. This site also allows visitors to request quotes online by entering in some very basic information which is then sent directly to a Kaul Oil sales representative.
As stated above, search engine optimization was a very big part of this site redesign. This site was optimized for keywords like "home heating oil ", "fuel delivery" and others. The whole project was centered around developing a site that is going to perform well in search engines and bring in new business.
Even after only a few weeks of going live, this site has already proven a great success. The prior site did not rank for any of the targeted keywords, this new site is ranking for every single keyword that was targeted and is ranking in the top 5 positions for almost all of them driving a large amount of traffic to their web site that they were missing out on before.
