ABOUT THE CLIENT
The International Federation of Professional & Technical Engineers is an international progressive labor union representing more than 75,000 men and women in professional, technical, administrative and associated occupations.
PROJECT DETAILS
The International Federation of Professional & Technical Engineers (IFPTE) utilized their previous web site for close to 10 years. The site had become very outdated in design, technology and in structure. IFPTE needed a web site that represented their organization in a more accurate manner.
The newly designed site pulled certain elements from the previous site including colors and some of the sites structure. IFPTE wanted to make sure that when users visited the new site, they were not lost. The new site was developed in a way that allows the client to maintain most of the content on the site, keeping management costs to a minimum. This site has an abundance of information on it and it was a challenge to keep the site from overwhelming the visitor. A lot of thought went into the organization and navigation of the site and it has been a tremendous success.
This is the first project that IFPTE came to me with. IFPTE has since been a long standing client and we have worked on a wide array of projects together.
